Financial literacy rates are among the lowest in Generation Z—and we want to change that. Started in 2021 by two high school students, Gen-Z for Financial Literacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving youth financial literacy. We are fiscally sponsored by Hack+, a nonprofit & start-up accelerator.

Though Gen-Z for Financial Literacy is based in the United States, we have staff worldwide who help fuel our movement. Our team consists of people from over a dozen U.S. states and four countries—all working toward one goal: raising financial literacy rates in Gen-Z.
